The problem
Turkish users who wanted the best of AI were paying for several subscriptions and switching between several apps to get it. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok are all English-first products; none of them treat Turkish language or cultural context as a first-class concern. Excellent models, a fragmented and foreign-feeling experience.
What I built
I built one Turkish-first app that puts every frontier model behind a single native interface. The interesting engineering problem was not the UI — it was designing a provider-agnostic abstraction over four APIs whose streaming formats, token accounting, error semantics and rate limits all differ, so that adding a fifth model is a config change rather than a rewrite. On top of that sits a fast streaming chat UI, per-conversation encryption, and Turkish-tuned prompting.
The outcome
A multi-model AI assistant built specifically for Turkey, live on both the App Store and Google Play and used by more than 15,000 people. One subscription, one app, every major model — and a provider layer that has survived several API revisions without the client being touched.
