A smarter way to buy and sell cars in the UAE
My role
Solo developer — marketplace data model, swipe-browse UI, real-time chat, listing flow, moderation tooling, and both store releases.
The problem
Car buyers in the UAE were working through cluttered classified sites full of stale listings, then waiting on email to hear back. Sellers had the mirror-image problem: plenty of traffic, very few serious buyers reaching them quickly.
What I built
I built a swipe-first marketplace where browsing is fast, saving is one tap, and contacting a seller happens in built-in real-time chat rather than an inbox. Listing creation is deliberately short — a seller who has to fill in twenty fields never finishes — so the flow gets a car live in minutes and enriches the record afterwards.
The outcome
A modern car marketplace live in the UAE on both iOS and Android, turning a frustrating multi-day back-and-forth into same-session conversations between buyers and sellers.
